fingertips

all of windows at your fingertips

Hi,

On livehacking.nl there was somebody who says that he does the following instruction: “na Fingertips proberen, @personal;”. This will mean that a new task was made with the name "Fingertips proberen" and it will be placed in the list "personal". But when i do the above then it is not going in the list "personal". What can i do? To do this work?

Hello Michel,

The default 'na' command in Fingertips places the first parameter ('Fingertips proberen' in your example) in the subject of the new task and the second parameter ('@personal') in the Categories field of the new task.

After executing this command, I'd expect to see a new task in the default tasklist with the Categories field set to '@personal'. You may not be able to see the Categories field in the default View of the folder, so you may have to open the task itself to see the Categories field.

If you want to create a task in another folder, you'd have to create a new task (or copy the 'na' task - copy is probably easier) and then use the Folder button to select a different Outlook folder.

I hope this helps. Otherwise, please let me know what is different between your experiences and what I describe above.

Kind regards,
Taco Oosterkamp
